Hot Tub
Debonair clients can unwind in one of life's wonderful luxuries. The jet-driven force of water enhances circulation and digestion, relaxes muscles and alleviates stress. It is also a great place to meet and mingle with fellow campers.
Hot Tub Rules:
-
Hot Tub hours are 9:30 a.m. to midnight.
-
Please supervise your children & guests. Guests must be accompanied by a Registered Overnight or Seasonal Camper.
-
Children under 12 must always be accompanied by an adult.
-
INFANTS SHOULD NOT BE IN A HOT TUB.
-
Please ask your children to not play with the shower (i.e. use repeatedly for unjust cause).
-
If you are sweaty, sandy, dirty or have lotion on, please rinse off in the shower before entering the hot tub.
-
Be careful getting in and out of the hot tub as surfaces surrounding it can become slippery. Hold young children's hands when entering and exiting the tub.
-
Remove unclean footwear and rinse your feet before entering the upper Hot Tub deck area.
-
No person infected with a communicable disease or having open sores shall enter the water.
-
Absolutely NO: footwear / street clothes / soap or shampoo / toys / food, candy or gum / allowed in the Hot Tub.
-
No jumping or splashing in the Hot Tub. Please restrain from intentionally ejecting water out of the tub.
-
No jumping, sitting, or lying on the Hot Tub cover (on and off the tub).
-
Keep heads/hair above the water at all times.
-
No foul language, improper behavior, intoxicated persons, or running, allowed in the Hot Tub Area.
-
Absolutely no glass containers or smoking allowed in the Hot Tub. Please use the cigarette can on deck to discard cigarettes. Do not butt them on the deck, deposit them through the deck cracks (fire hazard), or throw them over the fence.
-
Absolutely no pets or sunflower seeds allowed in the Hot Tub Area.
-
Only adults are allowed in the Hot Tub from 9:30 p.m. to Midnight.
-
Keep the Hot Tub area clean. Please pick-up after yourselves and use the garbage can for your litter.
-
Report unsanitary conditions, irregular mechanical sounds or other problems to the campground House/Office or call 204-347-5336 or 204-746-0401. This is a local number in the Campground.
-
If the hot tub is at full seating capacity, please be respectful to others who are waiting by exiting the tub after 10-15 minutes of use.
-
The last person out of the tub MUST place the cover squarely on the tub. This helps eliminate bugs and leaves in the water, keep the heat in, and prevent chemical evaporation.
-
So Debonair campers can fully enjoy the benefits of using the Hot Tub, we ask that violators be reported to staff/management.
Thank-you for your appreciated co-operation!

Pets

Camping with your pet can be a lot of fun for you, your family and of course, your pet. Friendly Pets are Welcome at Debonair Campground but with the respect of the Campground's "Petiquette".
Pets are
not allowed at the hot tub, on the Beach or in the ponds. Pet waste is a contributor to bacterial contamination in our rivers, lakes, ponds, streams and beaches. Children play in the sand and sunbathers recline in it. A single gram of pet waste contains an average of 23 million fecal coli form (for example E. Coli) bacteria.
Help prevent environmental contamination by picking up and properly disposing of your pet's feces. Carry disposable bags while walking your dog. Removing feces prevents transmitting diseases to animals and people.
The noise of a continuously barking dog is enough to try the patience of even the friendliest neighbour. Dogs bark, howl and whimper for a variety of reasons - they may be lonely, bored, attention seeking, defending their territory, or ill. Many times dogs are left tied and unattended. The owner may not even be aware there is a problem. Try discussing the situation with your neighbours. Ask them how your dog behaved while you were away. If you learn your dog barked or whined while you were away, please refrain from leaving your dog unattended in the future. It is unrealistic to expect dogs to never bark. However excessive or habitual barking, howling and whimpering is not tolerated in the campground. As a dog owner, you are required to control your dog's barking.

Campfires
Photo courtesy of the Anderson family
The most peaceful feeling invades the campground at night when campfires are lit and the smell drifts through the air. There's something about sitting around a cozy campfire, staring at its glow, and watching the sparks dance upward against the evening sky.
Each campsite is furnished with a firepit and picnic table. Firewood can be purchased at the office or you can bring your own.
